I'm less than 24 hours from pressing the big publish button for the next Trivial Trivia game despite having plenty of self-challenges to go. The task for this morning was to look into keyboard support for the game. What this would mean is you can play through 100% of the game and view everything that you normally would be able to view with a mouse.
Was it easy? Nah. Does it work? Yep!
Introducing keyboard support for the TT series - featuring labels for buttons and elements across the game! To toggle these hints, press K to display the number on your keyboard you need to press to 'click' the button. While this is barebones and not the best implementation for keyboard support in a highly cursor-based game, it is something! It's also the first time I've ever tried mapping key inputs to events in Javascript!
You'll be able to play this hodgepodge of personal challenges tomorrow morning when the game releases!
