Trivial Trivia 1st Day Recap

Posted by TeamTrivial - 2 hours ago

Howdy!

First of all thanks for everyone who voted for the game today! It got through judgement pretty quickly considering it can sometimes take our submissions until the next day to get through especially without a front page post (I got incredibly busy and hadn't had time to make one of those earlier.....). Also thanks to everyone who allowed the game to make it to first place - this is amazing for us and we never expected our series (especially this entry) to rank so high!

If you have just read the above and are a little confused, check out the game here:

This entry has 6 packs, 250+ questions, and no clear-cut topic. It instead is composed of trivia packs that were on the chopping board or passed up from previous months. The only real new packs for this entry are the definitions & food descriptions pack. We felt we could release a submission like this as we have a lull in our schedule & had packs just sitting out there pretty much complete. We'd love to hear any feedback on the 'grab bag' type of release so please leave a comment here or on the submission page!

Stats

Now for a quick rundown of the first-day stats. Please keep in mind the game released at 10:30 AM EST so this is not a full 24-hours worth of data

Much like previous entries, the quiz session count is higher than total views. On average, 1.3 trivia games were played per person! A more less than half of users submitted a score as well.

This entry to the series removes the basic loading screen in favor of a more integrated loading experience. This allows me to better track whether a player is a NG supporter, user, or a guest and the stats reflect this pretty well here! From the numbers most players are NG users which makes sense considering the game currently has ~110 views and 60 votes.

I'll plan to post an end-of-month review going into the stats of both this entry & the Trivial Guesser entry sometime after the start of December if people are interested.

Thanks for reading and happy Monday!
